It's been quite the rocky road for Reese this past week. She turned 9 months on Monday and things are getting weird, as we like to say in the O house.
In the last 7 days:
She is working on 3 (or 4?!) teeth at once. From the way her mouth looks she might be getting a full set at this point.
She has been fighting a virus complete with a fever and now ending with a rash.
She dropped her 3rd nap.
I took out one of her 5 nursing sessions.
It was Friday the 13th.
We got a snow storm and have been off school all week...which means 6 straight days at home (and counting).
Need I go on?
This is truly the perfect storm. Or the not-so-perfect as the case may be. While it's been great being home with our fam unexpectedly...it is really sad to see Reese so out of whack. She has been cranky, moody and sensitive. Not her usual style. I also have to wipe her nose about 87 thousand times a day.
Thankfully, at her 9 month well appointment today her pediatrician was very reassuring and told me this was totally normal. She said Roo was "a perfect 9 month old". Obvs.
While it's hard to see my baby suffering a bit...the silver lining is that I get to at least be home with her while she is feeling so crummy. And big sister has been a huge help, too. Reese can only feel so bad with Zoey as constant entertainment.
Here she is in all her crazy, 9 month glory.
And big sister enjoying some good ol' fashion snowflake catching.
